I want to know what Obsidian is and does and I cant find a simple sentence or paragraph to tell me. (Then I will like to know more oc.)

Note-taking is an essential part of being an academic. There are literature notes, meeting notes, presentation notes, project notes, and the list goes on. How do we keep it all organized, connected, searchable, and even enjoyable? For me, Craft Docs has met all of the aforementioned criteria. It’s not that it’s technically difficult

If you need to access your notes with other tools for thought, then you should consider switching to Obsidian, which is based on plain-text files.

When I share project notes with team members that don’t use Obsidian, the current method is to export each note. When there are 20 notes to a project, this takes a while. Is there anything in the roadmap to allow people to select multiple files on the selection window and then use the same export button that already exists?

I'm a huge fan of read-it-later apps, and I'm a really happy Instapaper user. But when I saw all of these rave reviews of Matter, a social reading app, I knew I had to give it a try. In this video I give a brief overview of what Matter is like to use, what I like about it, and whether or not I'll be switching to it.

As I'm using Logseq now on daily basis, it made sense to see how well my Roam Highlighter for Chrome integrates with the app.

Apart from linking to pages outside of Logseq, you can also use the alias function to link to an internal page. This is handy for when you want to show a different label for an internal link.

Creating links to pages is simple in Logseq; you just type them! No need to use your mouse, create a page, and then point to it. If you link to a page that doesn't exist yet, Logseq creates it for you.

Just like we can reference a page by placing its name between [[double brackets]], we can reference a block by using ((double parenthesis)) and placing its address in between.

Logseq aims to be an environment for thinking.

Two common ways to get started with Logseq are note-taking and task management.

Capturing (or quick capture) allows you to quickly record your ideas and move freely to next one without having anything “fall through the cracks”.
