Okay so Raspberry Pi type of computers like Raxda, and SheevaPlug types like SheevaPlug, PogoPlug, Tonido (that might be DOA), and other things like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nettop and/or mini-pcs, pc-on-a-stick, sort of stuff. Going to keep them all under plug_computers tag. And soon, cast sticks, etc, will most likely also be considered plug_computers imo. Hell, the old Apple TV that had a hard drive like the one I have. I'd say that's a plug computer. As are the failed Android TV settops imo, and maybe any advanced or new casting stick. Or any Roku sort of device (Apple TV realm along with that other box though that might have failed or be failing now) that can be hacked or on their own do stuff..going to put them all as plug_computers. Though Apple TV/Roku sort of devices and cast sticks will also get another tag. Same with if a like tiny sort of netbook is made where you can take the monitor off lol and have a tiny thing left. #plug_computers #pub

Apparently these are a lot more powerful than Raspberry Pi's. And in 2014, they were $100. Maybe there's a $50 version now or during sales, if not less :D.

Pretty sure the PogoPlugs are both bricked to the point of it just being too much of a hassle to fix since I was still new to anything beyond PHP and CSS back when messing with them :P. #@to_buy #interesting #plug_computers #pub

_Cool that plug_computers will be able to boot into things besides a Linux variant. Although my love for Arch Linux is strong and dislike for Android is strong, sadly, with things like WebOS failing...probably won't be any other options. Oh - ChromeOS, lol..._

"One of the biggest advantage of Radxa Rock the quad-core mini-pc over Raspberry Pi is that it supports dual-booting with support for both Linux and Google Android. In last tutorial we configured Samba file-sharing on Ubuntu based Linaro Linux image on the Rock, and today I am going to share an excellent custom Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat ROM for Radxa Rock which works well with everything working out of the box. If you are thinking why Android when we have a full-desktop OS like Linaro (based on Ubuntu) running on some powerful hardware, then the answer is because Linux still lacks Hardware Acceleration support for Mali-400 GPU on RK3188 based devices like Rock. An experimental Ubuntu Desktop release with OpenGL ES acceleration for Radxa Rock is released but it is still experimental and XBMC still does not work with it. Radxa has also released a preview image of Android 4.4 KitKat but once again it is also half-baked and lacks Root support, luckily we do have an alternative custom Android 4.4 ROM for Radxa ROCK with features like - stock 4.4.0 recovery, CWM 6.0.3.1 recovery, system ext4 support, selinux kernel, ethernet support, init.d support, gameloft compatible, USB-Hub enabled, gamepad compatible (PS2, XBox, …), pre-built kernel modules (cifs, tun, lan, serial, audio), latest hosts, su, su-binary and busybox, Reboot Menu, sEFix, FX Sound, File Manager HD 0root), Google Now and Nova Launcher." #dual_booting #OSes #plug_computers #pub
