"Start by going to settings/general/background app refresh
Shut off every social app like Facebook and Twitter, also Instagram. even Reddit app and Discord. Turn off background refresh for apps that you don’t use very much, just try to turn off for as many apps as possible. Leave it turned on for apps that you use constantly but even there or you might want to think about it. If it’s an app that you check once a day then definitely shut it off. That helps.
Then you are going to want to look for a tweak called [[Vedette]], turn it on for all apps that are heavy battery users. In order to find out which apps are sucking your battery dry, use BattRate by Julioverne from his normal repo.
Once you identify which apps are guzzling down your battery, activate those within Vedette, tell the tweak to terminate the apps, you don’t want to throttle the apps, because that will cause the app in question to hang up and there won’t be anything you can do about it while you are waiting for the memory to recover. It’s better just to let the tweak terminate the app.
There is also “Fix Random Resprings” which helps a little bit, it increases the Jetsam Limit."
