Deep Search

Everything histre captures lands in one index. The search box at the top of the app, and the one in the extension, look across all of it at once.

What is searched

• Notes and bookmarks, including their tags
• Highlights, by the highlighted text
• Collections, by title and description
• Conversations imported from ChatGPT
• Browsing history, by page title and by page text

Narrowing it down

Pick a type to search only notes, highlights, collections, conversations or research history. Pick a time range, from the past hour to a custom span of dates. Inside a collection, search just that collection. Results show the matching passage with your search terms marked, so you can tell at a glance which hit is the one you meant.

From anywhere

Press / in the app to jump to the search box. In the extension, the popup and the sidebar have the same search, so you can find a note without leaving the page you are on.
