Extract and Compare Data

Comparing twenty Airbnb listings means twenty tabs and a spreadsheet you typed by hand. histre reads the facts off each page for you.

On the page

On a supported site, the extension's note for that page shows an attribute table: for an Airbnb listing, the price, rating, number of reviews, bedrooms and the rest; for a Twitter profile, the handle, follower counts and bio. Save the note and the table is saved with it. You can edit a value or add a row of your own.

Side by side

Put the pages in a collection and open it: the collection shows the attributes from every page in one table, one row per listing, sortable by column. The comparison builds itself as you browse.

This is part of the extension's Enhance Websites setting, which also adds histre tools to Hacker News and Craigslist. It can be switched off per site.
