"I was recently featured in a CNBC article about Penguin and the lack of updates (article here[1] ). After the author interviewed me, he went back to Google for comments on my claims. They responded by giving him some of my past Reddit posts: 1) where I asked about possibly buying an email list and 2) asking for feedback on getting my site to convert. Think about that for a second. Neither of those things have ANYTHING to do with my sites SERP rankings.
