Dennis and Talos are working tirelessly, sparing no time to sleep, to take over the base abandoned by the sole god Ahiel in the other world of Hermina.   The souls of the dead may not sleep, but it is the same thing when you say that you spare no effort.   As confusing as it is, there is no idiom to describe the activities of the dead.
