"Shares of Stamps.com have almost tripled in 2020. In May, the company forecast total revenue for the year at between $570 million to $600 million, unchanged from previous guidance, as well as net income between $41 million and $53 million." Nothing changed except the business isn't hampered by coronavirus pandemic. Why have shares 2.5xed in 6 months then? If nothing has changed besides many businesses being worse off, that wouldn't constitute 2.5x rise. A 50% rise seems pretty adequate. PE is 70 after the 8% rise from rumors. 2017 to 2018 net income grew by 10%. Rev grew by 25%. 2017 to 2019 had 22% rev growth, but net income fell 60% to $60M. Rev for 2020 is unchanged or single digits as $570M 2019 rev is on target. Net income is supposed to drop by double digits again. #patterns #pub
