Liked on YouTube. | Title: How was England formed?. | Description: How was England formed? The existence of England is one that is often taken for granted and looked at far too scarcely. This may be due to the overshadowing history of the development of Great Britain and the United Kingdom, but nonetheless, in order for these unions to be formed, England had to already exist - and it actually has since 927 AD. So, how was England created, who claimed the land before the English, and how did it become the nation that we know today?... ♦Consider to Support the Channel of Patreon and gain cool stuff: https://www.patreon.com/Knowledgia ♦Please consider to SUBSCRIBE : https://goo.gl/YJNqek ♦Music by Epidemic Sound ♦Script & Research : Skylar J. The most common name in modern American usage, is simply "the Civil War". Although used rarely during the war, the term "War Between the States" became widespread afterward in the Southern United States. During and immediately after the war, Northern forces often used the term "War of the Rebellion", while the Southern equivalent was "War for Southern Independence". The latter regained some currency in the late 20th century, but has again fallen out of use. Other terms often reflect a more explicitly partisan view of events, such as "War of Northern Aggression", used by some Southerners, or the "Freedom War", used by their black counterparts to celebrate the effect the war had on ending slavery. In most foreign languages, the war is called "War of Secession". #history #historical_revisionism #BS #i_am_benevolent_pattern #politics #democracy #USA #cIvil_wars #pub

"The traitorous eight are eight men who left Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory in 1957. William Shockley had in 1956 recruited a group of young PhD graduates with the goal to develop and produce new semiconductor devices. While Shockley had received a Nobel Prize in Physics and was an experienced researcher and teacher, his managing of the group created harsh working conditions.[note 1] He chose a strategy for circuit design that failed and created an intolerable working atmosphere.[note 2] The group of PhD graduates hired demanded that Shockley be replaced. When their demands were rebuffed, they realized they had to leave. Shockley described their leaving as a "betrayal". The eight who left Shockley Semiconductor were Julius Blank, Victor Grinich, Jean Hoerni, Eugene Kleiner, Jay Last, Gordon Moore, Robert Noyce and Sheldon Roberts. In August 1957 they reached an agreement with Sherman Fairchild and on September 18, 1957 they formed Fairchild Semiconductor. The newly founded Fairchild Semiconductor soon grew into a leader of the semiconductor industry. In 1960 it became an incubator of Silicon Valley, and was directly or indirectly involved in the creation of dozens of corporations such as AMD and Intel.[1] These many spin-off companies came to be known as "Fairchildren"."
