Install histre for Edge
The extension is how histre captures what you read, save and highlight. It is free and open source, and installing takes about a minute.
Notes and highlights on any page
Select text to keep it. Write a note without leaving the page. Everything is searchable later.
Tree-style history, if you want it
Turn it on and the pages you visit are kept as a tree you can retrace. Pause or delete it any time.
Save and restore tabs
Turn a window full of tabs into a collection, close them, and reopen the set later on any computer.
After installing
- Sign in to histre in the same browser, and the extension picks it up.
- Pin the histre icon to your toolbar so it is one click away.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+H on any page to open it, or tap Shift twice for the command palette.
