Spotify went up 50% in sales to $3.1B in 2016. Doubled users. 50M paying. 90M free. 140M total. For end of 2016 I assume. However 90% of revenue is from paying customers. Advertising did also go up 50% but being just 10% is weak af. They must be losing a lot of money on free users because of the payouts they'd have to be doing.
